Google, today announced that its popular web browser, Chrome, will be available on the Apple App store later in the day for both the iPhone/iPod Touch and the iPad. Features wise, Chrome for iOS is not too dissimilar from its Android cousin as it has the ability to sync tabs and bookmarks across a variety of devices including Windows PCs, Macs, ChromeBooks, Android smartphones and tablets and iOS devices. Additionally, Google showed off the ability to sync credentials across devices, and this would work even for pages that never have not been opened on the device in question, as the browser will auto-fill the credentials. Notably, according to Apple’s app rules for iOS, Google cannot bring its own WebKit rendering
