Unveiled back at MWC in February, the Samsung Galaxy Beam is now available at the Samsung India E-store for Rs 29,900. Earlier this month the device had gone up for pre-order for the same price. The device owes its beam moniker to the fact that it comes equipped with a project 15 lumens projector that can project HD video up to 50 feet wide. Additionally, it packs in a 1GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera, a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, 4-inch WVGA display, 8GB of internal memory and a large 2,000-mAh battery. The projector toting smartphone will run on good old Android 2.3 Gingerbread and unfortunately there is no word on an upgrade path to Android 4.0
